Looking for Lithium Buyers in Nigeria?
If you have lithium ore for sale and are looking for a reliable pathway to market, the Nigerian Mineral Exchange (NME) can help connect you with established lithium procurement networks operating through Abuja.
As Nigeria’s lithium industry continues to expand, Abuja is emerging as an important supply chain coordination and warehousing hub serving buyers, aggregators, processors, and export-oriented procurement networks across Northern Nigeria.
NME works with suppliers, miners, cooperatives, aggregators, and mining communities to facilitate access to legitimate buyers and procurement channels.
Whether you are supplying a few tons or managing larger volumes, our goal is to help qualified suppliers connect with active procurement opportunities.
Why Abuja?
Abuja is increasingly becoming one of the most important coordination centers within Nigeria’s lithium supply chain.
The city provides strategic access to major lithium-producing regions across Northern and South-Western Nigeria while also serving as a logistics and warehousing gateway for procurement activities.
Many buyers and procurement partners prefer to coordinate deliveries through established warehousing and aggregation systems in Abuja because of its accessibility, infrastructure, and central location.
This creates opportunities for suppliers across Northern Nigeria to access broader markets through a structured supply chain.

WhatsApp: 08130799304
To help us assess your opportunity, please share:
- Your location
- Estimated quantity available
- Photos or videos of the material
- Laboratory test results (if available)
- Any additional information relevant to the supply
After reviewing your information, our team will provide you with our current buying price list covering the various lithium ore grades and specifications currently being procured.
Step 2: Initial Review and Offer
Our team will evaluate the information provided, including:
- Material type
- Location
- Estimated quantity
- Available test results (if available)
- Supply logistics
Where your material meets current procurement requirements, we will discuss pricing and delivery arrangements.
Once both parties reach an agreement, the supplier will be assigned a unique Delivery Identification Code (Delivery ID) for tracking and verification purposes.
Step 3: Delivery Coordination
Approved suppliers will receive delivery instructions and be directed to our designated warehousing and receiving facilities in Abuja.
Before dispatching the material, suppliers are required to:
- Share a video of the loaded material
- Provide a clear photograph of the truck and number plate
- Confirm departure details
This helps ensure transparency and proper coordination throughout the delivery process.
Step 4: Weighing, Sampling and Verification
Upon arrival at the warehouse, the truck undergoes a structured verification process.
Stage 1 – Gross Weight Measurement
The loaded truck is driven onto the weighbridge to determine its gross weight before offloading.
Stage 2 – Offloading and Sampling
During offloading, representative samples are collected from different portions of the material to ensure a fair and accurate assessment.
The collected samples are divided into two equal portions:
- One sample is retained by the supplier
- One sample is retained by us for laboratory analysis
This procedure promotes transparency and allows both parties to work from identical sample materials.
Stage 3 – Net Weight Determination
After offloading is completed, the empty truck returns to the weighbridge for a second weighing.
The difference between the loaded and empty truck weights determines the net quantity of lithium ore delivered.
Step 5: Laboratory Analysis and Payment
The laboratory analysis is conducted on the collected sample to determine the material’s grade and quality specifications.
Laboratory results are typically available within 24 to 48 hours after sample submission.
Once the laboratory results are released, payment is processed immediately based on the agreed pricing structure and confirmed lithium percentage.
